Data controller and contact

The data controller is MedaNexa. For privacy questions, contact info@medanexa.com.

2

Purpose of the app

Clayvia Player is designed to play, organize, convert and cast audio, video and media files that are on your device or that you are otherwise authorized to use.

3

Data processed on your device

Playlists, favorites, playback history, last position, file paths, technical media data and your preferences may be processed locally. Converted files may be saved to a folder you choose or to the platform's media collection.

4

Permissions and access

The app only requests photos, videos, music, selected files/folders, notifications, local network access and some Android special access when needed. Optional permissions can be refused or revoked later.

5

Advertising and consent preferences

In ad-supported versions, Google Mobile Ads SDK and UMP may process approximate location, device identifiers, interactions, performance data and consent choices.

6

Notifications

In notification-enabled versions, FCM and platform notification services may be used. Local notifications are generated on your device and can be disabled in system settings.

7

Online metadata and artwork searches

When you start a search, queries based on track, artist, album or movie title may be sent to services such as MusicBrainz, Wikimedia, Wikidata or Wikipedia. The media file itself is not sent for these searches.

8

Chromecast, Cast and DLNA/UPnP

When enabled, the selected media and playback details may be transferred to the receiver device on your local network. Use these features only on networks you trust.

9

In-app purchases, sharing and retention

In-app purchases are processed by the store or payment provider; MedaNexa does not receive full card details. Data is shared only to provide the feature, meet legal obligations, protect security or in other permitted cases. Local data may remain on your device until you clear it.

10

Where laws in the EEA, the UK or similar regions apply, processing may rely on contract performance, consent, legitimate interests and legal obligations. Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
